Privacy Policy and Notice at Collection

This Privacy Policy explains how RCM Group Insurance, doing business as Gray Beard Insurance ("Gray Beard," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and retains information when you use this website, request an insurance quote, communicate with us, or continue to a third-party insurance website.
Short version
When you request a quote, we may use and disclose your information to match you with insurance companies, licensed insurance producers, agencies, managing general agents, comparison platforms, and other insurance-related partners that may help fulfill your request. Those parties may contact you and may retain your information under their own privacy policies. Gray Beard may receive compensation for referrals, leads, affiliate-link activity, or insurance business.
1. Scope and important definitions
This Policy applies to information collected through this website and our related quote, referral, communication, and customer-service activities. It does not govern a third party's website or service.
"Quote Partners" means insurance companies, licensed insurance producers or agencies, managing general agents, insurance wholesalers, quote-comparison services, referral or affiliate partners, and technology providers that participate in finding, presenting, completing, or servicing insurance opportunities.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
Identifiers and contact information: name, email address, telephone number, postal address, and ZIP code.Insurance and vehicle information: current insurance status, desired effective date, vehicle year, make and model, number of drivers, general accident, ticket or claim history, coverage interests, and other information needed to evaluate a quote request.Communications and consent records: contact preference, messages, call or text records where permitted, the consent language presented to you, date and time of consent, and related transaction records.Device, internet, and marketing information: IP address, browser and device information, referring page, landing-page address, date and time, advertising or campaign identifiers, pages viewed, links selected, and outbound partner clicks.Information from other sources: information from Quote Partners, service providers, marketing sources, public records, consumer-reporting sources where legally permitted and separately authorized, and other sources involved in fulfilling your request.Inferences: information reasonably inferred from the categories above, such as likely product interests or which available Quote Partner may be suitable for the request.
The initial quote form does not request a Social Security number, driver's-license number, payment-card number, bank-account number, or medical information. A Quote Partner may request additional information on its own website under its own privacy policy.
3. How we collect information
We may collect information directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, from advertising platforms and Quote Partners, and when a Quote Partner reports whether a referral, quote, application, or transaction was completed.
4. How we use information
Receive, evaluate, and respond to quote requests.
Match, route, refer, or connect you with one or more Quote Partners.
Present carrier, agency, or affiliate links and track whether those links are selected.
Communicate about quotes, coverage, renewals, products, services, and related offers.
Prefill or transmit information to a Quote Partner when authorized and technically supported.
Verify information, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain security, and troubleshoot the site.
Measure advertising, referrals, conversions, site performance, and customer experience.
Maintain records, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and protect legal rights.
5. How and why we disclose information
We may disclose information to Quote Partners, service providers, advertising and referral partners, government and legal recipients, and business-successor recipients when appropriate for the purposes explained in this Policy.
A Quote Partner may keep and use information it receives even if you do not purchase a policy. Its handling of that information is governed by its own privacy policy and applicable law.
6. Sale, sharing, referrals, and compensation
Gray Beard may receive compensation from insurers, agencies, affiliate programs, referral partners, comparison services, or other Quote Partners for leads, referrals, clicks, applications, policies, or other activity. Compensation arrangements may vary.
Some state privacy laws define certain transfers for advertising, referrals, or other valuable consideration as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information even when money is not paid specifically for a person's information. To the extent an applicable law grants you the right to opt out, you may submit an opt-out request using the methods in Section 12.
7. Redirects, affiliate links, and third-party websites
After you submit a request or select an offer, the site may display a Quote Partner, automatically redirect you, or provide a link to a third-party website. We may record the referral, the partner selected, and whether a conversion or transaction was reported.
Third-party sites operate independently and may collect additional information. Their privacy policies, consent language, terms, security practices, eligibility rules, and quote processes apply once you visit or interact with them.
8. Consumer reports and insurance information
Insurance companies and other authorized Quote Partners may use motor vehicle reports, claims-history reports, credit-based insurance scores, or other consumer reports where permitted by law. The initial Gray Beard form does not itself authorize every possible consumer report.
9. Calls, texts, emails, and recorded communications
If you provide the consent requested on a form, Gray Beard and the Quote Partners matched, displayed, or linked in connection with your request may contact you at the telephone number and email address you provided. Contact may include calls, texts, and emails using live representatives, automated systems, prerecorded messages, or artificial or AI-generated voice as described next to the form. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchasing insurance.
You may opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP and may request help by replying HELP. An opt-out sent to Gray Beard applies to Gray Beard. If a Quote Partner contacts you independently, you may also need to send that partner a separate opt-out request.
10. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
We may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, server logs, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, measure traffic and advertising, attribute referrals, prevent fraud, and improve the service.
11. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, maintain consent and transaction records, comply with insurance, tax, accounting, legal, and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No transmission, system, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
12. Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or portability of personal information; to learn about categories of information collected or disclosed; to opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; and to appeal a denied request.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under age 18.
13. Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 through the quote form.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as our practices, Quote Partners, technology, or legal obligations change. The effective date above shows when this version took effect.
